Miles Scott Clow, 68

Miles Scott Clow, 68, Grand Forks, N.D., died suddenly on Friday, Oct. 23, 2020, in Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, from complications of pancreatic cancer.
Miles Scott Clow, the son of Lyle and Donna (Johnson) Clow, was born April 28, 1952, at Hallock, Minn. Miles and Rhandi (Glenn) were united in marriage on Nov. 25, 1972, at Humboldt United Methodist Church, Humboldt, Minn. They have lived in Grand Forks since 1987 where he attended the University of North Dakota, earning bachelor’s and master’s degrees in geography. He served as the maintenance lead at Grand Forks City Hall.
Miles could be accurately described as a motor head, avid Harley enthusiast and proud owner of his beloved 1972 Chevelle SS.
Miles was a devoted husband to his wife and a caring father to his children, but the greatest role of his life was as “Bumpa” to his four beautiful grandchildren, whom he loved with all his heart.
Survivors include his wife of nearly 48 years, Rhandi; sons, Kelly Clow (Dawn Kidle) of Tampa, Fla., and Brian (Stacey) Clow of East Grand Forks, Minn.; daughters, Erin Clow and Kristen Clow, both of Grand Forks; and grandchildren, Aivlyn Clow, Evan Clow, Kittson Monson, and Myles Monson;  siblings, Rebecca Clow, Devils Lake, N.D., Brad (Annette) Clow, Omaha, Neb., Todd Clow, Twin Valley, Minn., and Darcy (Mark) Gilbertson, Devils Lake, N.D.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lyle and Donna Clow.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m.  with a time of memory sharing at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 27,  in Amundson Funeral Home, Grand Forks.  Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28, in Humboldt United Methodist Church, Humboldt. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Hallock. Masks will be required at each of the events. Social distancing will be observed. The family encourages casual dress.
Memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society or the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
