Mary Pinnock, 80
It is with a heavy heart and light spirit that the family of Mary Ann Louise Ryden Pinnock from Donaldson, Minn., announce her passing on Monday, Dec. 7, 2020, at 5:50 p.m. at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, N.D., at the age of 80.
Mary was born on Sept. 20, 1940, to Ella and Arthur Ryden in Kennedy, Minn.
Mary was educated within the Kennedy Public School and the University of North Dakota. Mary was a member of the VFW Auxiliary Post 3828. Mary lived a full and interesting life as a 60s renovated blue school bus hippie, a gifted washtub bassist, one of the last known Cleveland Browns fan, and a tender of gardens, libations and people. She was a lover of heat and a complainer of the cold with a kind, unconditional and generous heart for everyone that ever made her acquaintance.
Mary is survived by: her sister-in-law, children, grandchildren, great grandchild, her loving extended family and friends; Fay Ryden, Abbra Olson (Brian Olson), Miriam Clapp, Emelea Link (Timothy Link), Caleb Pinnock (Amanda Pinnock), Taylor Peig (Jeremy Peig), Jorunn Olson (Nick Cummings), Emma Clapp, Josie Link, Lauren Link, Brandon Pinnock, Charlie Pinnock, Ella Pinnock, and Dakken Peig.
Mary was preceded in death by her beloved sister Marilyn Peterson, brothers Earl Ryden and Robert Ryden, and husband Peter Pinnock.
A memorial and celebration of life will occur June 12, 2021, in Hallock, Minn., at the residence of Caleb and Amanda Pinnock. Mary will be laid to rest at the Kennedy Cemetery.
