He was born on Sept. 11, 1945, in Grand Forks, N.D., to Raymond and Stella (DeMaine) Winter. The family moved to Hallock, Minn., where Glen grew up and later farmed the family land. Glen was old school when it came to business in the fact that face-to-face meetings were the only way to do business and each one of his desks had a filo-fax for the contact numbers/ business cards and a large printing calculator.
Glen was a champion of the underdog and would offer help to those he saw in need. He also loved his family and cherished is RV trips with his wife and granddaughters.
